I purchased the VDO oil pressure sender extension hose from Bus-Boys (about US$27). Only place I could find it.

I mounted the VDO dual sender on to the middle engine mount and ran the extension hose through a hold I made in the pushrod tin. The length is fine. Works great on my 90 Westy.

If the engine tin for a Syncro is different then you might have issues with the hose length. It is only about 12" long.

You're welcome to take a look at my setup next time you are in Hamilton.

BTW, I would forget the whole thing and concentrate on putting in a Subaru engine. That's what I'm doing this summer.
