Subject: lower front shock bolts
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

I took my van in for a front end alignment yesterday and when it was finished I got a call saying the lower bolts on the shocks on the front were missing. I was quite shocked as I had installed the bilsteins myself about 10 months ago and I knew I put the bolts on tight. I requested they put new bolts on, which they did. Driving home this evening I hear a loud pop and and big piece of metal go flying underneath me, when I get home sure enough one of the bolts is gone. Could my bilsteins be too strong? or are my bolts just too weak? Any suggestions?
