I use Goop hand cleaner, followed by ordinary soap and water. The Goop loosens up the grease, the soap washes it away. Seems to work best if you *don't* wet your hands before using the Goop.

Goop is also reasonably effective as a pretreatment for grease stains on clothing.

If Goop isn't available (maybe you're out on the road), WD-40 works too, but I've never figured putting that stuff on my hands was a great idea.
