Hello all, well it looks like I'm not going to be able to buy a new engine
anytime soon to replace my old/tired/leaking/cracked head & headgasket 2.1L
in my '87 Vanagon. It's got an automatic transmission also. It's kinda
tough fitting a wife & three kids into my little Ch*vy S-10 pickup. So any
of you that have a good affordable used 2.1L engine please respond back. I
realise good and affordable may be contradicting but nevertheless.

I'm saving my money and will buy a new one eventually but I've got to get
this Vanagon back on the road. I had thought about buying an affordable
small car to drive until I get the money saved up to replace the engine but
nothing has appeared that doesn't already have problems. Plus it's nice to
have the extra room in the Vanagon.
