You guys really need to come up on vacation to see for your selfs. I live in Wasilla, about an hour north of Anchorage, and honestly, try to stay away from Anchorage as much as possible. I am not a city person, which was part of my reason for comming to Alaska. If you like cities, Anchorage has most everything large cities offer, with less people (250,000?). You can head south and enjoy all the northern marine life to your heart content, or north for more and more and more mountians. Anchorage is a good place to have it all.

Hope that helps alittle!

Holli
