I suspect you will need to replace the starter. Normally, when you turn the key, the solonoid on the starter is activated. This engages the gear to spin the engine and activates the starter motor. Your motor is on all the time. I would not have suspected the ignition switch. The problem is probably in the starter. Remove it and bench test. Bill in the Southwest |
