I buy garage sale cookware and pack it in a rubber maid box with newspapers. I use paper plates, also good as packing materials. I carry coffee, sugar, flour etc in glass gars with the wire locking rings and rubber gaskets. For special group events I share cookware and meal responsibilities with others. I pretty much go bare bones and eat mostly sandwiches, fruits, granola bars, trail mix and salads when camping. Not likely you're going to get gourmet results from your Westy stove top.
