Joe, Although the link suggested by Mike below is a great resource, it discusses the oil Pressure gauge and sender. I was able to acquire a custom made sender that replaces the drain plug to use as the oil temp sender. I had to wait a while to get this sender but the guys at Bus Boys were able to get this to me. Check'em out at http://www.bus-boys.com You may need to send a e-mail to them describing what you are after, it is custom. The only issue with the drain plug replacement is that the wire could get yanked off in the wilds while driving off road or in the snow. Hope this helps, Joel 89 Syncro Westy Rochester NY. mike boland <westy@MVBOLAND.COM> wrote:Joe try this: http://volkscafe.com/articles/oparticle/oparticle.html Mike At 01:36 PM 2/19/2003 -0800, Joseph Fortino wrote: >hello anyone have a write up on an install of a oil temp >gauge i have a VDO cockpit the instructions don't look that >good to me ( lamer ) :) the gauge reads to 300 F. > >I also have a tranny gauge that I'm not going to use. > >Thanks Much >Joe >85 GL
