Where are you located? Is it a winter thing? I know on other lists people are getting really edgy over winter. here in Kalifornia we really never have that problem! ;-) .....time for a open air drive in the midget! ;-)

I have NEVER said the wasserboxer is a BAD engine! I love it! the '84 had an engine compartment fire...mild damage, but enough to cost big $$ to replace all to back to stock. We found the deisel wabbit engine at Pick-n-pull for $79.00!!!! ;-) now just need to swap in all the vanagon deisel parts we already have as spares, go back to get a set of tail light assy's and all that wiring, than will have a good running van. Slow as hell, but it will be cheaper to run in Kalifornia with our gas prices... Paul (maybe shouldn't mention the mercury marine mercruiser 140 engine that is powering my '66 Land-Rover? ;-) hehehehe! and you all thought old rovers were slow! ;-)
