Subject: Oil leaking out
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi List members,

I realize this is a pretty basic question but I need help with this. I had my 87 vanagon, "Ruby" serviced two months ago at Dr. Volkswagon here in Louisville, KY (where I recently moved).. got an oil change at that time. Now two months later I notice oil all over the garage floor and the oil light started flashing. I pulled over as soon as I saw this and added oil... the flashing stopped.

This, I think, happened once before. There is a gasket that needed to be replaced when the oil was changed or something like this and they neglected to do it. Before I take the van this a.m. BACK to Dr. V. could someone out there tell me if I have the possible problem identified correctly?

I think there are listees from the Louisville area out there. If so, could you perhaps add input as to good places to service my Vanagon in the area?

Thanks very much, Susan Ames
