JJ, my man, I am not a Flatlander, so, I would NEVER run an auto van. That said, if the van is righteous, the price is right, buy it and apply the funds for the rebuilt auto to a stick shift conversion. There are enough junkers out there that you should be able to find all the necessary hardware with a single stop at a wrecking yard and, if needed, a rebuild for a 2WD X-axle is not too pricey.

That is my opinion and you know what opinions are like.
