Actually, I have the big, thick Bentley Vanagon manual; I've looked at the diagrams, but it's all Greek to me, bus... I'm an art director, for crying out loud! ;) Guess I need to bone up and get intimate with the wiring section. BTW, is it possible that a short in the dash could've blown the starter solenoid, resulting in the "always on" condition?
