I was cruising alone here being happy as hell while I was wrong and now
you've ruined that for me.
The Victor Reinz  gasket actually says Viton on it and mine have always
been green ......... not one of your color options.

This is a case where my transferable skills come in to help (well , not
really...).  Viton is a brand name owned by Dupont or Dow, (I forget
which,
and I think they merged anyways)  There are at least 4 different groups
of
Viton, probably more.  Viton can have carbon black or not.  I've seen it
light blue, pink, white, red-brown, and of course, black.  The only way
you
can tell is by reading the label.  There are lots of Viton-like o-rings
out
there.  Viton is good for it's high temp resistance, long shelf life, and
ability to deal with corrosive materials.  How do I know all this stuff?
Used to be a submarine mechanic.  We had to staple the o-ring packaging
on
to our QA/QC work to ensure the proper o-ring was installed.
Soooo...don't
rely on color!
