I first heard the term "queefed out" spoken by the most astute and exacting trouble shooter I have ever known. Whenever he spoke I listened. I also acted like I understood what queefed out meant.

The first thing I checked was the fuel pressure regulator. When it showed 36 psi with vacuum/40 without, I thought I had the problem by the ying yangs. Unfortunately, substituting a tested regulator made no difference. This brings to mind a question. The Bentley calls for fuel pressures of "approximately" 29 psi with vacuum and 36 psi without. So, I have to wonder what Mr. Bentley considers approximate.
