They are ordinary QH bulbs, I believe, with a blue coating. Gas-discharge headlight bulbs (xenon) are not a plug-in option. They use a very high voltage.

If you've made the mistake of buying some & the shop won't refund your money, try cleaning the blue off with acetone... then you'll have decent bulbs.

I can't be sure that acetone (2-propenone) will dissolve the coating, but it is most likely that it will. Clean them well.
