Hi there Dave here. I'm not new to buses, I currently have a 70 Doormobile and a 67 deluxe with 2 project buses on the side. I have an opportunity to pick up an 85 waterpumper automatic.

It has about 150k, bodies in good shape (the good).

It's sat for 3 years. The Fuel injection was removed in favor of dual DellOrto's. New tyres 3 years ago (didn't look for dry rot but that's a given). Hasn't been turned over in 1.5 years. (the bad)

Asking price is $500. I've paid about that for a real rough doublecab but htis is a different beastie.

What do y'all think, is this worth it or should I run away? What should I pay particular attention to,/look for/be wary of? All constructive thoughts welcomed and many thanks in advance.
