It looks like a $10,000.00 pain in the ass to me.
My rich Uncle didn't put me in his will and bastardizing a Vanagon or
Westy with my money will never happen.
If you had a $10,000.00 Syncro and you put this ten thousand dollar
engine in it you would then have a nine thousand dollar Syncro at resale
the next week.
Everybody knows that I'm 100% negative about engine conversions; Run what
you brung or just get another faster production built vehicle.
Three years ago I bought a 65,000 mile one owner (DEA) 92 Ford Crown
Victoria with the Law Enforcement package for $2500.00. I'm confident
that it will actually go past the 120 mph on the speedometer. (Sorry to
hear that I might be dying in a fiery explosion from a rear end collision
though)
In summation ..................... you can go a lot faster a lot cheaper!
