I'm still confused why VW didn't weld two Vanagon engines together to
create this W8 beast!

stopped BEFORE they got to the letter "V" let alone gone all the way to
"W")

This looks like it would be an awesome install into a
syncro westy! has anyone done measurements on the
engine to determine fit? Also makes one wonder if the
tiptronic would be a reasonable replacement for the
Syncro stick.
