Subject: Anyone Need New OEM Westfalia Battery Chargers??
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi all,

I seem to have acquired a great little black box, which appears to be an Original OEM Westfalia battery charger. It is new and never out of the box!

It has a 120 Volt power in plug (like the ones on the back of a computer) and has a sticker from PHILIPS on it. Says that it puts out 13.8 volts at 10 Amps, which leads me to believe that this little box (it measures 20cm wide, 13cm deep, and 7cm high) is a built in component of Westy campers, which puts out charging power to the batteries, as soon as the 120 volt hookup is supplied with power.

It has an outlet for a plug, which has 6 terminals.... Conv. Pos, Conv. Neg, S+, S-, LED+, Thermal S

I would love to know what these abreviations all mean, and also know if there is any interest in these units... I may be able to get about 5 new ones and could sell them to list members. I would keep it myself, but have 230 volts here, and have no desire to hook up a converter to a conterter.

Of course, the other question is... what is this worth??

Please pmail me if you want to discuss this further.

Thanks for your input.
