VW part number 216 005 237 111 EX-25 "THE SLEEPER"

VWOA literature reads: Lightweight wood base 35.5" long provides a bed over 6' long when rear seat is folded down. Base is held to wagon's body with two steel supporting arms and retaining hooks. Cover has waterproof poplin sides, vynil top. Zippered mosquito netting and roll down flap provided, along with two side ducts with netting for extra ventilation. Comfortable sleeping surface is provided by three thick foam rubber cushions.

In real terms: Cool tent extentsion that has wood base, orange canvas, foam pad and hangs from the rear hatch (upper) hinge loops with two male slots which slide into splittie bus childscot brackets (mounted to floor base/hatch opening).
