Recently there was a rear fold down bench from a '90? Carat on Ebay. Can't remember the dealership, but they are located in Kentucky and always have items up for auction. Starting bid was $5. with no reserve. I followed it to the end, there wasn't one bite. 1400 mile round trip was just too much. andrew -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Art McGinn Sent: Sunday, February 23, 2003 5:45 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: fold out rear seat ? i bought a weekender sleeper platform several years ago from the guy who presently runs www.californiacampers.com for about $100US, removed the back seats from my '82, and installed it. it has been great. i would check wrecking yards there also. vdub garages here make no secret that they work the junkyards for parts. cheers, art mcginn, s.f.
