Greetings, Just got in the van to go home and as I pulled up on the parking brake handle to release the parking brake it went slack but the rear(s?)brake is near locked up. Crawled under and verified that the cable is very loose. Appears that the brake(s?) have jammed on in a self activation mode. Maybe the cold has something to do with it since it's about 10F currently. Can't move in reverse at all. Very difficult to move forward. I suspect I can't get the drum off since the brake is locked on. Any suggestions? Its parked in my school parking lot and will need to be removed within 24 hours. Is it OK to tow from the rear? Should I try smacking the snot out of it? Any input would be appreciated. Mike Kozak 87 westy
