I think Vanaorak asked "Why?" in response to my statement that I can go 100mph uphill. I reply: It isn't that I drive at 100 mph, which I have only done once (yes, uphill). It's that I can keep up with traffic at 75mph and not be a nuisance or obstruction. I can carry a huge payload and still accelerate down an on-ramp and smoothly/safely enter traffic. I can climb up steep grades in the woods without any problems. I downshift less often. I can punch it to quickly evade or escape nasty situations that arise on the road.
