The manufacturer recommendations that I have read all specified a 6" or wider rim. I'll have a tech article on my site this weekend with MB part #'s for the 14x6" and 14x6.5" steel rims. They bolt right on, and are a cheap and safe way to get to larger tires. I paid under $100 for my 14x6 rims. Hello All, I'm looking at B.F.G All Terrain TA KO tires for my 84 Westy. I read in earlier posts of some list members using this tire. My question is,do these tires fit the stock 5.5 rims without a problem? The specs for these tires are 6.0 to 7.0 size rims, and I'd like to make sure I can go with these before I shell out the cash and make a big mistake. TIA, John |
