Sunday afternoon I took a little ride from Dallas to visit a friend about 50 miles due West of Dallas. The purpose was to socialize my 6 month old pup to being around other dogs and my friend has several dogs and several children to wear the dogs down. I fought a 30 - 45 mile an hour straight on head wind all the way to his house and managed to keep the gauges in a safe zone at 60 + or minus a few mph. On the way back I had a wonderful 30- 40 mph tail wind that pushed my little Westy right along with the big SUVs and big imported sedans. I was happily cruising at about 75 and noticed that I was approaching 85 mph ................ It was nearly a thrill. Since I worked the Westy so hard to get there I was pleased to see that I could actually hold my position in interstate traffic without being passed by everyone. With the ridges they cut into Texas highways and temperatures in the low 30s those Agilis 61s were singing a song I'd never heard before. Short trip buy the pup loved it.
