Well, folks, those of you who may have seen Detlev Hanschke's Audi inline-5 conversion last Van-O-Rama may recall that it fit under a fairly close to stick engine lid. Looks like Detlev section a portion of the intake manifold to give it a lower profile. Unfortunately, Detlev only offers turnkey conversions last time spoke with him. I'm not sure if he wants to participate in this discussion. I cc'd this reply to him just for the heck of it. Or he may be persuaded to bring his conversion in this coming 3rd annual Van-O-Rama come September. BenT ps: I have pics of the engine but may take time to dig it up. |
