I've seen Chevy safety switches where you had to press the cruise control
button.
I've seen Ford switches that required the seat belts to be locked
......... both front.
I've seen switches that required the radio to be turned on.
My Ford requires the brake to be depressed.
I had a Westy that required the tranny to be in reverse to start the
engine ........ Boy that one drove me nuts. I didn't know it was there it
took me about two days of troubleshooting to figure it out. The Westy
didn't come with keys and from a used car lot with no Tips, Tricks,
Nothing; just a receipt and no title.
You cold always add an accessory switch like an extra emergency flasher
switch to your instrument cluster to operate a relay to the starter, fuel
pump, coil power supply.
I've also seen a two key lockout system and a jet ski magnetic switch
mounted.
