Wheel bearings/races don't take much force, so the 4 ton is more than enough for those. But lower balljoints, that's another story!

I have a 20-ton press, and I really needed to lean on the one set of lowers I pressed for another listmember. I'm not sure the 12-ton would have done the job!

Another advantage of the 20-ton is that the working area is much larger.
