Guys... I ain't stupid... I won't be using a propane tank that hasn't been
sufficiently purged of the residual propane... this is only common sense!

The danger isn't so much when you're driving down the road, it's when some
poor sap has to dismount your tire bomb later.  This was a big issue for
shops when people would use some of the older 'fix-a-flat' cans -- many of
them contained mostly propane!  (Ever wondered how they got a whole tire's
worth of "air" inside that little can?  Now you know.)
