You will get the requisite, contrived apology from them...>> My wife managed to not only get the stock VWOA apology, but she also extracted a check for the cost of a new set of rotors that we had to buy because our (defunct) local dealers' wrench monkey had machined the old pair instead of replacing them in the course of a 4-wheel brake job and they warped on a cross country trip. I still own tools that this guy uster leave behind, discovering *years* later a lost screwdriver inside the AC housing in the back. The original brake job was done at 73K miles and the rotors were replaced at 77K miles.
