My take on the 'riot act'.

1.  As a father of an 11-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son I agree with
the riot act.  I want the campout to be a place I can take my children and I
want to relax.

2.  As a single 34-year-old male I want to be able to relax and have a few
brewskis, cut up some low-line jokes with my friends, and perhaps get the
van a-rockin.

However, I am mature enough to respect the rules of the campsite and the
need for the campout to have family appeal.  "The riot act" will not have an
impact on my decision to attend, but it will make my attendance more likely
since now I don't have to concern myself with those who make #2 in the above
list a priority in their lives.

As an organizer you can't please everyone,  but you can adhere to the
foundation that made the previous events so successful.  I think most people
just want to camp in their VW, or with their VW, and relax.  I think the
alcohol and "tobacco" reduction will not have as negative impact in
attendance as we might fear.  Yeah, so we'll lose a few drunks, a few
potheads, and we'll have a few less will puke in the woods.  Big deal.
