but I saw the posts regarding Carat pricing and wanted to show they can be had fairly cheaply if you don't mind doing some work... ---------------------- Clip -------------------------- Dallas and Texas in general is a dead zone for Vanagons of any type. The bays and splits have a fairly good following. I've bought running Air Cooled Vanagons for as little as $250.00 several Westies for $550.00 or less. I put way more in this 66 Split Window that I thought I'd ever pay for an old VW of any type. I've been told that the fellow with the Vanagon super wrecking yard in Ok died and any unit on the yard was $250.00 just come and get it. I can't qualify value on Wasser Boxers but it sounds like you made a good buy if you can put it back on the road for a few hundred.
