Drove down to Mesa AZ yesterday for Larry Chase's send-off party. He's a great guy and his '90 Syncro Westy is a wonder to behold. If you get a chance to meet him and see it at one of the other get-togethers he has scheduled, do so. It was worth the near 300 mile round trip for me. Ten or twelve Vanagon people from the PHX area showed up, as well as the Euro Cars reps from Denver. Great people, free food and drink, and really nice tee-shirts on a warm (low 70's) Arizona afternoon. Couldn't ask for more. Only problem was making sure the big trash truck didn't pick up a Vanagon as it came down the street trying to retrieve the trash bins from between the vans lined up along the street!

Thanks again Larry, Kerry (sp?), Eric and the rest of the family and Bon Voyage to Larry and RoadHaus. Jerry
