Subject: Relocating the battery in an '84
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I am finding myself having to replace the positive battery cable on my 84 WBX. I was thinking it might be nice to mount it in the engine compartment, and free up the space under the seat for an cd changer or something.

My question is primarily concerning the secondary positive wire off of the battery... where (and can) I pick that up in the engine compartment? How long of a cable would be needed (seems like a 30-36 inch should do) and does it pay to add the relay to the starter while I am at it?

Thanks

Jerry
