You make me laugh. You bought the upscale, got every piece of american designed crap on yout 'Toyota' and you bitch about about it? I'll bet you paid too much for it too.

Try a 92 pickup, built in AMERICA, with 152K on it. The 22RE engine is bulletproof.

I have replaced the radiator because I didn't replace the antifreeze for 6 years. I have replaced the front pads at 100 K, I need to do the clutch. At 152K. That's it. Total maintenance excluding oil and filters. Wanna compare any 1991 VW Vanagon's maintenance record against it? Wanna compare any VW sedan's maitenance record against it?

You bought a second hand lemon off some lot in the middle of winter, and you complain about it?

You make me laugh. When VW figures out how to get to the reliability levels of Toyota, you let me know. In the meantime, I'll drive my Vanagon when I feel like it, and my Toyota when I NEED to get somewhere.

Had I known Roadcow was for sale a couple of years ago, I would have bought it. It, at least, had a decent drivetrain.
