Subject:      85 Alternator Selection Weirdness

I need to replact the Alternator on my 85GL.

It appears to take the AL27X.

VolksCafe has the Bosch Rebuilt I was looking for but they have the AL33X listed for the 85. It looks like they have the AL33X listed for all years, even though most places have it for only 86-88??
