It's the rare and unusually well-executed modification that increases the value of the vehicle to a buyer. Generally they increase the value to the owner, but not to others, because they're simply the owner tailoring the vehicle to their own likes and dislikes -- which won't necessarily be shared by everyone else. ------------------------------ Clip ---------------------------------- For many years I outfitted my pickup trucks with very nice Koering Side Mount Tool Boxes. They also had a overhead rack that carried ladders, long lumber and whatever was necessary, some had winches on them. The trucks also had extra heavy equal tow bumpers for 6,000 pound hitches. These were about a $3,000.00 investment over the purchase price of the new truck. In every situation I got the same price out of the trucks without the equipment.
