If it's a light bulb, should be fixable -- they usually use grain-of-wheat bulbs that can be replaced by RS 12v 60 ma grain-of-wheat, two per package. May take some ingenuity and a (possibly large) soldering iron to get inside far enough to unsolder the old bulbs and solder in new (with a very small iron). Definitely will take patience and methodical approach to disassembly/reassembly. If you don't like mechanical jigsaw puzzles you may not be happy doing this...
