I even had to remind them that the engine was in the back. Thank you, Jeff Lincoln -------------------------- Clip ---------------------- Oh Darn! Jeff you take all the fun out of it. My first oil change at 15 years old was a total disaster. We had a 54 Pontiac straight 8 with an automatic tranny. I just rolled under there and drained the oil into a big galvanized pan. Poured my new oil in the engine and proudly started the car to go see my sweetie. The car didn't move. I checked the oil and boy did it have a lot. You guessed it; I drained the tranny. It took some convincing to get another ten bucks out of my Dad to 'Go on my Date' but I rode my bicycle to the service station about a mile away and spent the money on 7 quarts of AT fluid and four quarts of oil. My sweetie got short changed on her date that night because I had to add some money with the $10.00 from dad to cover my butt and get the fluids back right. Now you keep that a secret and don't tell anybody.

Stan Wilder
