i'm sure this has been been investigated/gone over before i got on the
list--is it possible to get the brazilian bus?  or is it mexican? i know
you could get the old beetle,new.

They say money talks. With somewhere around 1,000 people on this list
alone, and 100's
of them spending thousands of dollars to maintain or upgrade our old
vans, and a large
enough number of them (me included) were willing to put down a sizable
deposit, that
VWOA could be persuaded to convert some to left-hand drive in SA where
labor costs are
lower and then import them? Wishful thinking, I guess.
