Kind of, the actual VW model designation is a Vanagon Camper. There is no mention of it being a 'Wolfsburg Edition' on the original window sticker or in any of the original documentation that came with my van; the only identifier is the badges on the front fenders.

I have seen a single owner 1987 Vanagon Camper in Orlando without the Wolfburg Edition badges, the owner claimed that the van never had them. It has power steering, windows and mirrors, options that my Camper doesn't have.

IMHO, the dealers put the Wolfsburg Edition badges on the Campers, not the factory, thats why they didn't end up on every camper.

There are more photos of Vanagon Campers with and without Wolfsburg Editon badges in the Photos section of the Wolfsburg_Campers Yahoo!Group, see my signature for the link.

You could technically call your van a 'weekender' because it has an option package that includes a rear seat that folds out into a full sized bed, but a lot of passenger vans and campers had that particular setup, not just your camper model.

One last thing, the 1984 Wolfsburg Edition Camper was fully optioned camper (GL?) with a special tan/brown paint scheme.

Thanks,
