www.ImportedCarParts.com sells new/rebuilt Bosch 90 amp alternators for $82.18 or $102.85 depending on which version you have. They are the least expensive place that I have found for most general repair parts. These are the same high quality, often genuine VW parts, you would get from WorldPac.

I'd rather get a rebuilt bosch without a warranty for $83, then buy a lifetime POS for $140.
