OK let me understand this. You are saying that the disk is originally filled in like a penny .......... no hole in the middle? You are saying "melt out". This to me means that something is missing from the disk, possibly something like sealing wax from the hole? I've got one here on my desk but it has a hole in the middle. My disk is about the size of a dime (smaller than a penny though) and it is made of aluminum. My disk says "Guarantee Void If Removed" all in caps. I'm being serious.
