Mat, I removed alternator and AC pump and drove. It was very very pleasing. Even better than rubber mounting the alternator (which was a big improvement as well). I think this whole tiico vibration thing, is caused by the reused of the old vanagon pump/alternator and associated 'custom' bracket. It is the source of vibration which resonate through the engine/body. All the other fixes are about removing the resonance - maybe this is getting at the source. Maybe lake of quality control in the adapter (it looks home made), is the reason for the huge variation in vibration/noise levels in the tiico kits. I now want to go all the way. I know I need an jetta/golf alternator and jetta/golf AC pump, but once I remove the Ticco adapter plate, I must need some other brackets. Do I go to junk yard? Could you sort of list the parts/year I need? This will give me a head start. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matthew Pollard" <poll7356@uidaho.edu> To: "Nock" <McNock@easystreet.com> Sent: Monday, February 24, 2003 6:11 PM Subject: Re: ticco
