I have an engine lid for my '82 diesel vanagon that is coming apart. I have two of these vanagons and the lids are different. Both are for the diesel vanagon, but one if from a westy, and the other is from a passenger van. The one from the westy is the one coming apart. I has what looks like normal fiberglass insulation under the lid. Does anyone know this kind of lid? What's the best way to restore it to better health? I don't want fiberglass getting cought in my belts. Brad |
