I think you got the mounts used in apx 94 and later vw. I was at vw parts
and your discription matches. part 1H0199262B, about 50$
a mount with the word "hyrdo" in it are more expensive, reg $90, but appear
to be only used prior to '94.
Any idea why vw moved away from what they called a "hdyro mount", to what
you have?
What you have looks like a pretty easy conversion. Was it?
