Excellent question, and here is an answer form a "lurker". I have only had
my van a couple years, and it is an air-cooled 1980 Westy. This means that:
1) I have nothing to say (aka no knowledge) to water-cooled folk
2) I have little knowledge on repairs/upgrades I have not done myself
3) Most questions are answered before I have even read the question. If the
answer is the same I would have given (which is often the case) I will not
reply.
I have asked and answered a few questions along the way, but you will rarely
see me post. FWIW, I get about 100 messages a day from this list alone.
