Why?

Because the thing that kept blowing out WAS the all night drug store thread repair insert installed by the original owner of said engine bought second hand from a reputable list vendor who obviously didn't know it had been cross threaded by some mechanic type ape when he sold it to me. So the choices are: 1.) Replace the head cause this one is toast because of the already been done insert job. 2.) Cement the thread insert back in with JB Weld and see how far this sucker will run before it needs doing again. Three years and counting.

Which one do would you choose?
