If this an inference to my previous post regarding the alternator bracket; I
would like to clarify: If you are making a statement that a part has a
certain configuration that is supposedly repairing a problem and the
description and supporting theory as to why it is fixing the problem is
false, be prepared for me to call you out on it.

In an effort to detach myself from any assumption that I have a "commercial
interest" in engine conversions I would like to make it clear that although
I do repair and modify VW's as a profession this does not mean that I drive
a Chevy that is bone stock. I drive nothing but VW's. Not one of them is
stock. I also have a vanagon. It is not stock either. I am putting together
an engine for my van that will be superior to any kit available. I am not
here to drum up business.

I am here to offer advice and *hopefully* learn something.
