How about a refrigerator... stuck it out the sunroof.


Additionally, I've recently been using my many vans to hold and move all my
shop supplies and equipment.  My new personal record is:


 - 2 tools boxes (small roll cabinets - full)
 - 1 heli-arc welder (incl. large bottle of helium)
 - 3 VW long blocks
 - a bunch of cranks, heads and various engine parts




Tires looked like they wanted to give up the ghost but it made it the mile
to my new playground without any problems.  Even had a little bounce left in
the suspension.


Didn't dare try to put my large Snap-On roll cabinet in a Vanagon, not only
would it hang out the door, but I think it outweighs the Vanagon.
